The Brixton Learning Collaborative (BLC) is a group of 15 schools and Children’s Centres in and around Brixton, south London, working together to improve outcomes for pupils, families and the local community through partnership working. Check out our latest news section to discover more about how we do this.

Our collaboration with other schools through the Brixton Learning Collaborative has provided excellent opportunities for our children, staff and school community. The holistic approach of the BLC helps us to develop and celebrate our local community, striving to improve the lives of everyone in our local area.

Collaboration

Our programme of working together delivers additional opportunities for staff and pupils to learn together and from each other. Read more about our work on our About Us page.

Support

We are committed to working holistically with children, promoting opportunities that support the whole family and the local community. Read more about our work on our About Us page.

Research

Our schools are actively engaged in innovative research programmes across many of our initiatives. Read more about our work on our About Us page.

BLC Partners

Our work would not be possible without the support and help of a great many organisations and funders. We are extremely grateful to all of our current partners. If your organisation is interested in collaborating with our partnership of schools, email Jenny Smith BLC partnership manager blc@christchurchschool.cc to discuss opportunities.

Our long-term partnership with the Brixton Learning Collaborative has been invaluable to National Theatre Learning. As a national organisation it has given us the opportunity to work very closely with our most local schools to develop creative learning projects and enrichment opportunities which we can then roll out to schools across the UK.  Jackie Tait, The National Theatre.
